Store System
The SLKARDS store system lets you interact with merchants who run the core economy — duplicate selling, kard packs, player-to-player trading, and (in upcoming stages) upgrades and genetic modification.
/slkards stores opens the merchant hub — a message with three buttons today (The Collector, Ida, Grand Central Marketplace); [REDACTED] Zeno unlocked in 0.4; Dr. Higginbotham ships in 0.5 . You can also jump straight to a specific merchant with /slkards collector, /slkards ida, or /slkards marketplace. Inside a store, the bot sends an embed with the merchant’s image, name, dialogue, and action buttons — and edits that message in place whenever dialogue or buttons change rather than sending a new one.
The Collector
Section titled “The Collector”A small black shadow obsessed with collecting as many kards as he can. He travels in an old wagon with a spinning spotlight on top, and will purchase any kards you want to part ways with.
What he sells: nothing — he buys. The Collector is responsible for the duplicate-sell mechanic, the primary steady source of koins in the game.
Kards are sold at the following rates:
| Kard rarity | Koins awarded |
|---|---|
| ⭐ | 25 |
| ⭐⭐ | 60 |
| ⭐⭐⭐ | 150 |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 350 |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 800 |
Ida’s Wunder Kard Packs
Section titled “Ida’s Wunder Kard Packs”Outside of kard spawns and the marketplace, you can also earn kards by purchasing kard packs from Ida.
What she sells: randomised kard packs, priced by odds profile. If you have the koins, you can buy a variety of packs, each containing a random selection of kards.

Kard selection
Section titled “Kard selection”By default, when you buy a pack the bot shows you three face-down kards; you pick two of the three to keep, and then all three are revealed — including the one you passed up. The Paragon Pack is the exception: it presents five face-down kards and you keep three, with the remaining two staying with Ida and revealed at the end alongside the kept slots.
Grand Central Marketplace
Section titled “Grand Central Marketplace”The Grand Central Marketplace is the third live store — a building dedicated to player-to-player koin transactions (direct sales today; auctions are upcoming in 0.3.5), not NPC-run services. It has its own dedicated page because it shares mechanics with the wishlist DM alerts and overlaps with player-to-player trading.
Each listing is identified by a 6-character listingTag, shown as [XXXXXX] in browse results, on your seller-facing “My Listings” panel, and on counter-offer DMs. Use this tag to reference a specific listing when chatting or filing reports.
[REDACTED] Zeno’s Colosseum
Section titled “Zeno’s Colosseum”A strong kard warrior of world-renowned status, Zeno grants you Glory Points (GP) for every ranked match won.
What he sells: GP-priced upgrades, cosmetics, and consumables — higher GAMBIT chances, permanent kard buffs, cheaper packs at Ida’s, and more.

Section titled “[REDACTED]”| Item | Effect | Cost | Per-wipe limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Future Diary | Reveals the next 5 kard spawns’ times and minigames | 25 GP | 5 |
| Juggernaut Suit | Protects one kard from a Wipe targeting it, then is consumed; unused suits stack across cycles | 20 GP × kardRarity × sealOWipes/5 | 1 new per wipe |
| Philosopher’s Stone | Creates a copy of any non-Almighty kard (Seal o’ Wipes are not copied) | 20 GP × kardRarity | 2 |
| Warped Pocket Watch | Respawns the latest captured/expired kard; per-spawn global use cap | 10 GP × kardRarity | 1 |
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”“For some reason it looks and behaves like a phone.”
Upon purchase, the bot sends you a DM showing the next 5 scheduled spawns — each listing the kard and its minigame type. If your DMs are closed, a fallback preview is sent in the store channel instead. You can only hold one active Diary at a time; a new one cannot be purchased until all 5 of the current Diary’s spawns have elapsed. You can buy up to 5 per wipe.
Cost: 25 GP
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”“Time for some serious protection.”
Lets you use the Juggernaut Suit on any kard upon purchase, equipping it immediately. The suit protects that kard if the wipe’s random draw would have selected it — if the kard is targeted, the suit intercepts and saves it, and is then consumed. If the wipe doesn’t target that kard, the suit remains equipped and carries over into the next wipe cycle. You can only buy 1 new suit per wipe cycle, but suits from previous cycles that were never triggered remain active and can stack across multiple kards at the same time.
If a kard has a Juggernaut Suit equipped, an extra field is added to the kard embed, right below the description, with values name = "**JUGGERNAUT SUIT EQUIPPED**" and value = f"``{kardName}`` feels protected against a future wipe.". This indicator appears wherever the kard is displayed — in /slkards dex, /slkards series, trading sessions, and marketplace listings.
Cost: 20 GP × kardRarity × sealOWipes/5
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”“You don’t even want to know how these are made.”
Lets you use the Philosopher’s Stone to create a copy of any non-Almighty kard upon purchase. The cost for this depends on the rarity of the kard. You can only buy 2 of these each wipe. Seal o’ Wipes are not copied to the new kard.
Cost: 20 GP × kardRarity
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”“It seems to tick… counter-clockwise?”
Lets you use the Warped Pocket Watch to respawn the latest spawned kard if it was captured or expired. The cost for it depends on the rarity of the last spawned kard. Each player can only buy 1 of these each wipe. Additionally, there is a limited amount of uses this item has per kard spawn (1-star: 5 uses, 2-star: 4 uses, 3-star: 3 uses, 4-star: 2 uses, 5-star: 1 use). These uses are server-wide, meaning for the latest spawn, if it was a 5-star kard, only one player needs to use the item for the kard to be spawned again, and any follow-up uses of the item by any player will fail.
Cost: 10 GP × kardRarity

[REDACTED] Dr. Higginbotham’s Lab
Section titled “Dr. Higginbotham’s Lab”At Dr. Higginbotham’s Lab, you can enhance your kard’s battle capabilities with science!
What he will sell (planned): artificial rarities, artificial modifiers, Limitbreaker services, and (at the top tier) kard evolution prep. For a fee — and some time for the kard to be genetically modified — Dr. Higginbotham will be able to introduce artificial rarities and/or artificial modifiers to kards, improving their stats and giving them skills regardless of their natural stats.
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”Kards can reach up to 10 total rarity stars — natural plus artificial combined (e.g., 5 natural + 5 artificial, or 2 natural + 8 artificial). Artificial stars appear as purple star emojis in the rarity field. A 3-star kard with 2 artificial stars added shows up as ⭐⭐⭐<purple_star>``<purple_star>.
Artificial stars are weaker than natural stars. Each HP/damage step from one tier to the next is halved. For example: a 3-star natural has an HP range of 9200–9800; a 4-star natural is 9600–10200. A 3-star natural + 1-star artificial sits at 9400–10000 — above 3-star natural, but below 4-star natural.
Artificial stars are added one at a time. Cost and time scale per star; while the upgrade is in progress, the kard is locked out of trading, battling, and so on.
| Artificial star | Cost | Time required |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 500 koins | 12 hours |
| 2nd | 1,000 koins | 1 day |
| 3rd | 1,500 koins | 2 days |
| 4th | 2,000 koins | 3 days |
| 5th | 4,000 koins | 5 days |
| Total (5 stars) | 9,000 koins | ~11 days |
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”You can also add an artificial modifier to a kard, or swap its current modifier for a different one. Only one modifier can be active per kard, so the existing modifier (natural or artificial) is overwritten. Artificial modifiers show up in the embed as SEMI-{MODIFIER} (e.g., SEMI-NEGATIVE) instead of the natural warning text.
Cost to add, change, or remove a modifier (kard is locked during the upgrade):
| Service | Cost | Time required |
|---|---|---|
| Add/change modifier | 2,000 koins | 1 day |
| Remove modifier/rarity | 300 koins | Instant |
Artificial modifiers are weaker than their natural counterparts. Their SKILLs usually have weaker/shorter effects. Below is each SKILL’s artificial-modifier effect:
| SKILL | Artificial-modifier effect |
|---|---|
| Inverted Mirror | Attacks for 1/4 damage instead. |
| Blackout | Blocks opponent from switching kards for two turns including this one instead. |
| Gambler’s Fallacy | Random buff or nerf for each of your attack’s damage for two turns including this one. Attacks once after using SKILL. |
| Prismatic Trap | The outgoing kard takes 1/8 of its max HP in damage instead. |
| Dither Boost | Accuracy buffs last for three turns including this one instead. |
| Dot Matrix | Shield lasts two rounds including this one instead. |
| Swap Space | Players can’t choose the kard or series — instead being randomized between a non-defeated kard. |
| Distortion Slash | ATTACKs can never be critical. |
| Vital Sketch | Heals the kard by the ATTACK damage instead. |
| Kard Trace | Deals an ATTACK to a random non-defeated kard from the opponent’s deck. |
| Fast Forward | ATTACKs can never be critical. |
| Afterimage | ATTACKs can never be critical. |
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”After you purchase the Tier 1 Limitbreaker upgrade at Zeno’s Colosseum, the Limitbreaker machine unlocks here — letting you add Limitbreaker rarities and modifiers. Unlike artificials, Limitbreaker stats and SKILLs match their natural counterparts exactly, letting you push a kard all the way to 10 stars as if it were natural.
The embed still calls Limitbreaker values out clearly — rarities show a red star and modifiers display WARNING: LIMITBREAKER {MODIFIER} ANOMALY DETECTED. This ensures no Limitbreaker kard can be passed off as fully natural in trades.
Services unlocked after the Tier 1 Limitbreaker purchase:
| Limitbreaker star # | Cost (Base) | Cost (Tier 2, 30% off) | Time (Base) | Time (Tier 2, 30% off) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 1,000 koins | 700 koins | 1 day | 16.8 hours |
| 2nd | 2,000 koins | 1,400 koins | 2 days | 1 day 9.6 hours |
| 3rd | 4,000 koins | 2,800 koins | 3 days | 2 days 2.4 hours |
| 4th | 8,000 koins | 5,600 koins | 4 days | 2 days 19.2 hours |
| 5th to 9th | 12,000 koins | 8,400 koins | 5 days | 3 days 12 hours |
| Total (5 stars) | 27,000 koins | 18,900 koins | 15 days | 10 days 12 hours |
| Total (9 stars) | 75,000 koins | 52,500 koins | 35 days | 24 days 12 hours |

| Kard evolution prep | 15,000 koins | 10,500 koins | 7 days | 4 days 21.6 hours |
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”After purchasing the final-tier Limitbreaker upgrade at Zeno’s Colosseum, Dr. Higginbotham can load your kards into the Omega Limitbreaker’s space-time compression chamber — where they spend an eternity fighting against themselves to reach the summit of their combat ability. In the real world, this takes one week. Once retrieved, the kard can evolve mid-battle — but only when its GAMBIT triggers, as that’s the only moment that replicates the chamber’s conditions.
Requirements to become evolution-ready: Limitbreaker modifier + 10-star rarity. Once a kard meets both conditions and completes the week in the chamber, it’s flagged evolution-ready and can be battled normally.
