Events
SLKARDS will run periodical server-wide events — Competition, Task, and Co-op formats — that layer modifiers onto the game (e.g., a 200% spawn rate modifier that decreases the time between kard spawns) and reward you with exclusive cosmetics and Glory Points (GP) for placing high on a server leaderboard or completing specific goals.
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”Events will be created and managed exclusively by server admins. Only one event can be active per server at a time — trying to create or schedule a second event while one is already active will return an error with the active event’s name and end time.
[REDACTED]
Section titled “[REDACTED]”Admins will use /admin-slkards eventcreate (upcoming) to launch an event immediately, or /admin-slkards eventschedule (upcoming) to queue it for a future start time. Both commands walk the admin through an interactive setup flow:
-
Event Name — The display name shown in announcements, DMs, and the events channel.
-
Event Type — Choose between
competition, task, orco-op. This determines the reward structure and tracking logic. -
Description — A short description of the event’s theme and goals, shown in the events channel embed.
-
Duration — How long the event runs, specified in hours (minimum 1, maximum 336 / 14 days).
-
Active Modifiers (optional) — One or more passive multipliers active for the event’s duration:
- Spawn rate multiplier (e.g.,
2.0for 2× faster spawns) - Koin bonus multiplier (e.g.,
1.5for 50% more koins from all sources) - GP bonus multiplier (e.g.,
1.25for 25% more GP from ranked wins)
- Spawn rate multiplier (e.g.,
-
Reward Configuration — Depends on event type:
- Competition: Define koin and GP rewards for the top 1%, 5%, 10%, 25%, and 50% of players. Rewards are cumulative from the tier below.
- Task: Define each individual task (description and completion target), plus the per-task reward and the all-tasks bonus.
- Co-op: Define one or more server-wide goals (description and target count), the per-goal participation reward, and the bonus for players who contribute to at least 50% of goals.
-
Confirmation — A summary embed is shown before the event goes live (or is scheduled). On confirm, the event is announced in the
slkards-eventschannel with its name, type, description, duration, and any active modifiers.

Section titled “[REDACTED]”Admins will cancel any active or scheduled event using /admin-slkards eventcancel (upcoming). Players who already earned rewards (completed tasks, co-op goals, or placed in a competition tier) keep those rewards. Unearned rewards are forfeited. The slkards-events channel will receive a cancellation notice.

Section titled “[REDACTED]”/admin-slkards eventlist (upcoming) will display all active and scheduled events on this server, along with their type, duration remaining (or scheduled start time), and a brief configuration summary.

Section titled “[REDACTED]”Everyone competes against everyone else on a single metric, and rewards scale by your final percentile. For example, a catching contest will pay out different rewards to the top 1%, 5%, 10%, 25%, and 50% of players based on kards caught during the event window. Rewards are cumulative — a player in the top 5% collects every tier down to 50%.
Every player receives a list of individual tasks. Each task pays out a reward on completion, with harder tasks paying more. Completing every task in the event grants a bonus on top.
The whole server works together toward one or more shared goals — typically a metric that counts up as players do the thing (e.g., trade 10,000 times server-wide). Every participating player gets the goal’s reward, and anyone who contributed to at least 50% of goals earns a large all-goals bonus. Players who don’t contribute to a goal miss out on that goal’s rewards.
